Staying at L’Oriel felt like stepping into a fairytale, infused with the culinary spirit of Riquewihr. Upon arrival, the staff welcomed us warmly, easing our travel frustrations, particularly after a long day. Our mornings began with buffet breakfasts, a delight not just in taste but also in their cozy ambiance. The spread was substantial, reflecting the region's rich flavors and traditions—even if slightly on the pricier side for breakfast. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant is a must; I experienced innovative dishes that highlight local produce, paired wonderfully with wines from Jean Sipp Winery, just a stone's throw away. The atmospheric surroundings, reminiscent of the Middle Ages, created a memorable backdrop for our meals. L’Oriel offers an inviting blend of comfort and culinary exploration, perfect for any food enthusiast looking to immerse themselves in local culture.
